Best Halloween ideas for kids in 2020.
2020 has been a strange year for us all, we've had to face some pretty strange times, with COVID and the lockdown that has followed. So what better way to cheer ourselves up than to dress up as blood sucking eastern Europeans and the undead.
But sometimes the outfit choices can get a little stale.
Oooh you've dressed your child as a pumpkin for the 3rd year in a row, how inventive, or if you were me growing up in the 90's in the north of England, swap pumpkin for black bin liner with a hole for your arms and head cut out of it.
That said we've decided to put together a list of our favourite kid's Halloween outfits for 2020 to get those creative juices flowing, and really stand out from the crowd.
1. Joe exotic (Tiger King)
Halloween doesn't always have to be scary, it can be funny too! It seems a long time ago now that we were all obsessing over Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin, but they were a big part of getting us through early lockdown, so why not show them some love with this awesome costume idea.
Who doesn't love a bit of Beetlejuice, this outfit is really simple, but effective, all you need is some black and white face paint, white hairspray and some stripy clothes.
3. Old lady
Everybody knows the mark of any good horror film worth watching, is a creepy old lady, we also think this outfit looks quite cute at the same time.
Everybody's favourite creepy doll, and yet again, not too tricky to put together, just a pair of dungarees a red wig and some freckles.
If there's something strange in your neighborhood.... Who you gonna call??.....
6. Pennyworth the clown (IT)
Possibly one of the most terrifying on the list, but guaranteed to make an impact! IT has seen a revival in the last few years all that's missing from this is a red balloon.
7. Edward scissor hands.
A bit trickier to make this one but all black outfit with some plastic knives and forks glued to a pair of gloves should do the trick!
We hope you enjoyed this run down of our favourite alternative Halloween ideas and hope you have a fantastic Halloween no matter what you do.
